In Denmark, German companies must register their employees for foreign service providers Register “RUT” (Register for foreign service providers - Registret for Udenlandske Tjenesteydere). The posting regulations and forms are available in German on the website operated by the Danish authorities Workplace Denmark to find.

Important: Not all services are notifiable; the exceptions are listed in a RUT notification guide. This includes, for example, in-house assignments and participation in seminars and conferences. The fitter clause is also described here, according to which work on technical systems is not subject to the reporting requirement for up to eight days.

Process sending notifications in Denmark:

1. Go to the “RUT” registration page on the official Danish government website “Virksomhedsguiden” (https://indberet.virk.dk/myndigheder/stat/ERST/Register_Fr_auslndische_Dienstleister_RUT).
2. Click Start and create a user account if you don't already have one.
3. Fill out the registration form, in which you provide your company details and details of the employees you are sending to Denmark.
4. Include required documents, such as employment contracts and payslips.
5. Check all details and submit your registration.
6. You will receive a confirmation by email and can view your registration in the portal.
